MTS has won the contract to deliver clinical engineering services to the Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

Serving the population of inner and outer London with over 350 sites, we are also providing maintenance and governance.

This is a 5 year contract and MTS are committed to working in partnership with the Trust to innovate and develop this service.

2024 sees MTS celebrate 25 years in business. International Women's Day 2024

MTS has long recognised the importance of encouraging young and aspiring engineers into the clinical engineering field.

MTS has invested in creating a panel of private sector and NHS representatives to evaluate for future years The Apprentice of the Year Award to be given out at the EBME conference.

This award has been named The Paul Austin EBME Apprentice of The Year Award in memory of Paul Austin, a clinical engineer who actively promoted apprentices into the industry. In this inaugural year the winner is Max Slipper of MTS. The judging for year 2 (2024) will commence in early 2024 for presentation at the EBME conference on the 29th June.

We are pleased to celebrate this event at the EBME Expo Conference, show casing all that’s excellent about Clinical Engineering.

We help plan, procure, install and commission medical and non-medical equipment in NHS hospitals.

We are also employers of clinical engineers, clinical scientists who provide equipment maintenance to the NHS to ensure the medical equipment is fit for use, compliant and safe.

We are investing in apprentices to grow the work force.

Celebrating 75 years of the NHS

MTS is proud to have worked closely with The Royal Marsden Transformation Team to equip their new prestigious Oak Cancer Centre.

This building is a new research and treatment facility funded by The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

MTS developed the room by room equipment lists, the specification and provided the tendering documentation and process and budgeting updates.

MTS has retained a contract to provide bed maintenance services to Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust.

This has been a great success as 3 of our apprentices originated here. Some of the engineers remain at Southampton and others have moved onto the MTS contracts. This vital service manages over 1000 beds, cots and mattresses enabling the Trust to keep the beds available for patient admissions.

MTS was delighted to exhibit and attend the 2023 EBME Expo held at the Rincon Stadium in Coventry. We attended a rich variety of seminars and presentations and MTS were proud to sponsor the day 1 drinks for the event.

MTS launch their unique product of Compliance Assure

Working with our client team at the University of Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust, MTS has successfully planned and equipped the Brighton 3T’s Hospital.

We initially started work in 2008 on this scheme and it was a fantastic experience to see this project over the line in 2023.

MTS provided equipment planning, room sign off, Trust standardisation, procurement, and handover and commissioning skills.
